Serendipity Publishing Group Although I have much experience in authoring scientific articles, mentoring Ph.D. students, and working as an editor in a scientific journal, I sensed that an autobiography would be a unique challenge. However, from a practical publishing perspective, I anticipated a problematic edge in the process of publishing. I have experienced how time-consuming and stressful it is to wait for a publisher’s approval of a submitted manuscript. Students who require acceptable articles to defend their Ph.D. dissertations and researchers who applied for research funding or to qualify for promotion are examples of nervously waiting times. Thus, I decided to establish my own publishing company instead of contacting an established company. It is named Serendipity Publishing Group. I thought it was an appropriate name - in The Collins English Language Dictionary, Serendipity” is the natural talent some people have for finding interesting or valuable things by chance.”
