Seren is a writer with a great tragedy in her past which has left her numb and blocked. When her agent comes to her with an IP project for a ghost story, Seren feels a spark of creativity. She secures a writer in residence position on Finnish and sets off for the island. There she embarks on a journey which will stir up painful memories, all the while watched over by the Shadowy Thing. What is this strange presence that haunts the island?
